Baby Bella is here!

The last time I saw Miss Bella, she was still in mama’s belly – and as beautiful as she was then, she’s just stunning now! Mom and Dad already seem to know that Bella is going to be full of personality – she loved telling me all about how she didn’t want to be messed with : ) I do have a bit more tenacity than a 3-week-old, though (not a whole lot more, but enough) and we held out until Bella zonked for some of those adorable sleepy pics.

Enjoy Bella’s sneak peeks! Leave some love as a comment and help earn free prints for mom and dad!

What a beautiful baby! I love her hair with the curl in front! The picture with her smiling is great!

Clara’s First Birthday Smash!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I did Miss Clara’s newborn photos, but I was thrilled to go back and watch Clara dig into some cake! I got a few photos of newborn Clara with dog Sophie a year ago, and Sophie was just as wonderful and gentle for this session as she was a year ago when I first met her. Still have yet to find a pooch as amazing as this one. Enjoy some sneak peeks…

What gorgeous eyes Clara has! I love the one of her putting the tiara on Sophie!

Jen and Ryan’s Wedding Day!

Wedding Photographer’s Wedding Wishlist:

1) gorgeous bride and groom – check!

2) amazing location – check!

3) perfect weather – check!

4) sweet, cooperative attendants who are also gorgeous – check!

5) a bride and groom who are SO IN LOVE. – double,  triple, and quadruple check!

I had the humbling honor to be asked to photograph my cousin’s wedding in Maine, so I packed up the husband and kiddos and off to Maine we went. A few days before the wedding Jennifer took me to the church so I could preview the lighting situation, and she was in a very typical pre-wedding frenzy. Too much to do and zero time to do it. That is, until Ryan walked into the church that afternoon. Jennifer visibly relaxed, and I didn’t need to know anything else about Ryan after that – I knew this bride was majorly in love with this groom, so everything was going to be just fine.

I can only hope that I captured some of the sheer love and joy that radiated throughout the day. A few sneak peeks…so hard to narrow down. It appears that my computer wasn’t so smart about putting the images in time order (or could that be operator error…hmmm…) but it’s still pretty obvious what a day it was!

H.S. Senior Gabby

Knock on wood, but the weather and I have been getting along great lately! I could complain about the heat, but I have just been so thrilled with no rain on outdoor session days : ) Today I got to work with my first 2011 senior rep Gabby and she is a natural for the camera! I had so much fun, I imagine I could have shot for hours if we didn’t start to run out of light. I will be taking applications for senior reps through the middle of August, so if you’re interested, please let me know – reps get a free session, discounts, and the opportunity to earn referral $$ : )

Will’s first birthday!

I had a blast working with Will today on his official first birthday for a cake smash (and some photos in his nice outfit too, of course!) Not only does this little guy have an amazing set of peepers, but what a character! I’m sure his mom had the time of her life cleaning up the icing that he tracked all over the house – and yes, I did help clean up a little bit : )
