So as I slowly catch up my blog from weeks of neglect, I wanted to feature a gorgeous newborn, Miss Sydney! I had the pleasure of working with Sydney and her family shortly before Christmas and she was a trooper and already adores mommy and daddy.
I have been very bad about updating the blog lately, and after I had done so well this fall – no good! My brother-in-law and his wife live in Northern Virginia, so I didn’t think I was going to be able to do newborn photos for their new little guy, but then life lined up for us and I ended up in the DC area for a seminar when newborn Sam was only 6 days old! A few images from his newborn mini session:
I love the sweet expression you captured…he is so sweet!
What a cutie! Great work!
What a handsome guy- just love the expression and alertness in the first one!
I do have to say that 11-month-old Mr. C and his adorable family were my first official “out of town” clients! C’s Aunt had one a gift certificate at a silent auction I donated to and then gifted the gift to her brother (C’s dad) – pretty awesome Aunt, if you ask me (especially since she came along for the session and helped get some of these adorable smiles!)
It was a cold one – we had rescheduled from a 35-degree day with 20mph winds to a balmy 45-degree day with 15 mph winds. C braved it, though, and smiled through it all! He was so cooperative – maybe because he realized that the faster he smiled, the faster he could get back in the car with the heat on!
Wow awesome aunt to gift a session to this beautiful family. You captured some great images in fall colors that just pop!
Beautiful family!!
To say that Miss Olivia was a natural would be an understatement. It was really my treat to work with this mature, adorable, and funny young lady this weekend! My little girls could take some camera tips from this red-headed beauty!
Lovely! Nothing beats a redhead! The colors are so gorgeous here.
Love this session!! She’s so cute and it looks like you’ve really captured her personality in these portraits!
Love the personality you capture in your images! I’m sure your clients love these!
When I was pregnant with my second child, I was SURE I was going to have a boy. Until I worked with 28 4-year-old boys at a gymnastics summer camp…then I was thinking I would be okay with another girl! I did get a second girl, but I do feel like there is something that I am missing out on by not having a little boy around, and these three boys showed me that! They had a genuine love for each other and their parents and it was a joy to watch. I am not, however, saying that they didn’t give me a workout! I was a sweaty mess at the end of this one, but this session’s a smile one – I smiled the whole time at the session, and I’m smiling even more at the faces I see in the results.
Thanks Katie! These look great! I’m very excited!
