I’ve known this family from several different angles over the years, including working for Tom for several years at Virginia Tech and teaching dance to Emily at the gym and they’ve always been so much fun. I was so thrilled when I was invited out to their home to do family portraits, and it was so much fun to do a mix of the traditional family photos with a little bit of goofing off thrown in. We really lucked out – 60 degrees and beautiful skies in November! Crazy!
So I have been good about updating my Facebook page from time to time (www.facebook.com/katiethackerphoto) but this poor blog is in sad sad shape! I have so many great sessions to share, I’ll add fave sessions from time to time over the next few weeks trying to catch up! First up…my faves from a wedding with a sweet sweet couple : )

I have had the opportunity to work with this family for awhile and I can’t believe how much these kiddos have been growing! Will’s 2-year-old session was full of personality, but that’s just how I like it – much better than going to the gym : )

Marisa is a close friend of mine and I have been so humbled and blessed to be her friend through her journey to get her two little twin boys, who are now going to be here in a matter of weeks! After all the time she and her wonderful husband waited to get pregnant, these 9 months are flying by! I am so honored to be able to document Marisa’s pregnancy, and I’m even more excited to get my hands on those two little precious boys when they arrive!!!

I’ve known Bailee’s mom for a long time – and I was so pleased to get a chance to work with this family for Miss B’s newborn photos! Bailee was super sweet and nice and sleepy, and I must say that I hope she keeps it up for mom and dad : ) I also have to mention that I have a little connection with Bailee’s mom – we have the exact same birthday (year and all)! Always fun to find those kinds of things out.
